Entry Level Firefighter/EMT

* For entry-level Firefighter/EMT, previous fire experience or training is preferred but not required

Job Summary:

Central Mason Fire & EMS (CMFE) is seeking highly motivated candidates for the position of Firefighter. CMFE is the largest fire department in Mason County, spanning over 172 sq miles of coverage with paramedic services to over 900 sq miles for neighboring fire districts. CMFE prides itself on our ability to aggressively fight fire, our highly advanced medical protocols, state-of-the-art equipment, family atmosphere, and supportive administration. Mason County is facing massive growth potential and CMFE is ever-expanding to meet that growth.

Benefits:

· Salary range $6,421.48 (2024 pay scale) to $9,206.29 (2026 pay scale) per month D.O.Q.

Requirements:

· Completed Department Application

· Current Resume

· Proof of Current CPAT

· Proof of current Washington State EMT or Paramedic Certification, or current National Registry with ability to obtain a Washington State Certification

Key Dates:

· Application Period Closes June 14th 2024 @ Noon.

· June 19th and 20th will be written exam, physical, and speed interviews

For candidates that successfully move forward in the selection process:

· 2nd week of July for BC board interviews

· Tentative start date of early August
